There’s something truly beautiful about this simple counsel from the Book of Mormon: “Live in thanksgiving daily.”

Don’t you love that we are told to live in thanksgiving daily in the Book of Mormon? I love finding treasures in the scriptures. I have found that the more I am grateful, the better my life goes. I stop comparing, I see the good, people are more pleasant, and life just goes better.

When we live with gratitude — not just during the holiday season, but every day — our hearts open to feel God’s love more fully. Gratitude lifts our spirits, softens our hearts, and helps us see His hand in even the smallest details of our lives.

As I try to notice the gentle blessings that surround me — a warm sunrise, kind words, family laughter — I feel peace. Gratitude helps me remember that everything good comes from Him.

May we choose to live in thanksgiving daily — to find joy in the ordinary and draw closer to Heaven through a thankful heart. 💛
