🌾 Gratitude Turns What We Have Into Enough 🌾

It’s amazing how gratitude can completely change our perspective. When we stop focusing on what’s missing and start thanking God for what we already have, everything feels lighter, calmer, and more beautiful. 💛

I was really upset the other night. My husband had been out of town, and I felt like I was running all over creation — taking people here and there, trying to keep up with everything. Honestly, I was just tired of being nice.

Then I started looking around and comparing my life to others who seemed to have it easier.

After years of therapy, I’ve learned to recognize that those are what I call “distorted thoughts.”

So I immediately started counting my blessings.
💛 A sweet husband who loves me even when he’s away.
💛 Kids who try to make things easier for me.
💛 Friends who are struggling too, yet still find time to love and care for me.
💛 Heavenly Parents who are always aware of me — who I can turn to whenever I’m in need of comfort and help.

As I thought of these blessings, my heart softened. My life didn’t feel so heavy anymore. Yes, it’s difficult at times — but I am greatly blessed.

I’m so grateful for the gift of gratitude and how it helps me see that what I have truly is enough. 🌿
