Count Your Blessings

Count your blessings

Autumn shows us how beautiful it is to let things go.

This really does work. Counting your blessings. I remember waking up really upset about hard things that were happening in my life. I started to think about all the things that other people don't have to deal with but I do have to deal with. All it did was make me more grumpy. I had the thought go through my head to count my blessings. This is something I did not want to do. But I did. I began to think about what I was grateful for. My home, my husband, good kids, food to eat, the nature around me etc. As I thought of these things my frustration stared to ease. My heart got softer. And after a while the problems I had didn't seem so daunting. They became easier and manageable. I was comforted. Count your many blessings, name them one by one . . .
